Research Experience

Developed a rat model of wound healing following laryngotracheal injury and conducted studies on TGF b-1 effects on wound healing.

Conducted electrophysiologic measurements using patch clamp techniques in isolated amphibian hair cell preparations.

Developed a murine model for mucormycosis and conducted trials of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and amphotericin B.

Analyzed liposome encapsulated 2 3 DPG and its effects on red blood cell oxygen affinity from 1987 to 1990.
