Magalie Nelson, M.D

Dr. Magalie Nelson-Charles is a board-certified otolaryngologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, and throat disorders. A graduate of the Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelors in Biology, she earned her medical degree from the SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Dr. Nelson-Charles completed her surgical internship and residency in Otolaryngology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Throughout her career, she has practiced as a general otolaryngologist, offering comprehensive care for various conditions, including sinusitis, nasal polyps, head and neck cancer, allergies, sleep apnea, thyroid and vocal cord disorders.

She is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and the Georgia Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery She has received recognition for her academic and clinical achievements, including election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and featured in Atlanta Top Doctors.

In her spare time, Dr. Nelson enjoys gardening, exploring new places through travel, and shuttling her two children to their many activities.
