The symptoms that just won't quit

Chronic rhinitis means months of nasal symptoms that sprays and pills only partly control. If two or more of these describe your day, an evaluation is worth it.

Runny Nose

A drip that never seems to fully stop.

Congestion

Stuffiness that blocks easy breathing.

Post-Nasal Drip

That constant trickle down the throat.

Sinus Pressure

Facial fullness, sneezing, and fatigue.

Common Questions

Questions About RhinAer

Will I still need my nasal sprays?

Many patients reduce their use of daily sprays and antihistamines after RhinAer. Results vary by patient, and Dr. Dillard will give you an honest picture of what to expect for your situation.

Is RhinAer covered by insurance?

It depends on your plan. Anthem currently does not pay for RhinAer (CPT 31242), and other plans may require prior authorization. We verify your benefits before your visit and tell you what you will owe in writing.

How long does the visit take?

The treatment itself is brief and done in the office. Your first step is an evaluation visit, where Dr. Dillard reviews your symptoms, explains the cause, and confirms whether you are a candidate, often in a single appointment.

How does it actually work?

Chronic rhinitis is often driven by overactive posterior nasal nerves that signal your nose to run and swell. RhinAer uses gentle, temperature-controlled radiofrequency energy to calm those nerves, reducing symptoms at their source.

Is RhinAer surgery?

No. RhinAer is a minimally invasive, in-office treatment performed through the nostrils under local anesthesia. There are no incisions, and most patients return to their normal activities the same day.
